The Innovations trophies : the Etoiles du SIEL awards
For the second consecutive year, the « products » innovations are at the heart of the SIEL show. In order to create the event around your products, the 2nd edition of “Les Etoiles du Siel” has been launched. This award will grant passed year innovative products and services (Products from a range evolution won’t be considered). The prizes will be awarded by a jury composed of 17 experts from the Audio and Lighting fields, and the retained innovations will be the purpose of a special promotion book and an exposition on the Innovations Forum, at the heart of the show.
This contest is opened to all the exhibitors and all the categories of products. It is free and each society can present as many products as it wants to.

How to suscribe ?
ATTENTION : In order to participate in the trophies and present products, you MUST be exhibitor at the SIEL.
You can ask for an application to fill in (also available in your exhibitor area) in order to present your products to our jury.
You have to fill in only one application by product and join a jpeg picture of it with a worksheet.
Planning of the Etoiles du SIEL 2013 :
November 2012, 30: Deadline for handling the applications.
December 2012, 13: First meeting for the jury so they will define the exhibited products in the Innovations Forum and shortlisted for the “Etoiles du Siel”.
From February, 04 to February, 06, 2013 : Exhibition of the selected products in the Innovations Forum, at the heart of the Show.

2013 results
For the second edition, a few key numbers :
- 17 jury members
- 73 products presented to the jury on December 2012, 13th.
- 31 pre-selected products for an exposition in the Innovations Forum
- 17 products awarded with an Etoile du SIEL on February 2013, Monday 4
Trophies of honor
Aded to these Innovations Trophies, four trophies of honor have been awarded to personalities of the profession in 2013 :
- Dan Bävholm, co-founder of Lab.Gruppen.
- Daniel Colling, creator of the Printemps de Bourges.
- Jean-Pierre Ferrandon, Link director.
- Luc Lafortune, lighting designer of the Cirque du Soleil.
